Description
The LAUNCH X431 OBD1 Full Adapter Cable Set expands compatible LAUNCH diagnostic scanners for supported older passenger vehicles that use manufacturer-specific diagnostic sockets instead of the standard 16-pin OBD2 connector.
This kit supplies the physical connection adapters and power leads needed for selected pre-OBDII and transition-era vehicles. Diagnostic coverage and available functions still depend on the connected LAUNCH scanner, installed software, vehicle, ECU and market.

For selected LAUNCH X431 scanners that support external legacy adapters. Compatibility must be confirmed for the exact scanner model, diagnostic interface, vehicle, year, engine, ECU and connector type. Model year alone is not sufficient to confirm compatibility.
This adapter set does not include a diagnostic scanner or software and does not add unsupported diagnostic, coding or programming functions to the connected tool.
